The next mid-morning, Jeff, Mom and I decided to take a sailing/motorized catamaran boat to see the Na’ Pali Coast. Our Blue Dolphin Charters left from Port Allen, west of Poipu. The four-hour tour included snorkeling or snuba (a form of scuba without needing a tank) at a couple locations during the trip. We were proud of Mom for going for it! Dad didn’t want to risk going with us because he was afraid of becoming seasick.
We had remarkable views of the Na’ Pali Coast, which has some of the steepest cliffs in the world. We landed at Hanakapi’ai Beach, which was one area where we snorkeled. Then we had an incredible lunch on board the boat before hitting the water again for another snorkel.
Upon return, we went back to the resort. We went to the beach and pool before going to dinner at the hotel.
