I am a transplant to the Great Lakes region of the U.S. from the Deep South. Ever since I was a kid, I have enjoyed traveling to many places to enjoy the great outdoors. Throughout my life, this has become a journey to explore the world, experience other cultures, understand my fellow man and appreciate the beauty of this planet. My favorite destination I have visited is Antarctica, but east Africa and Chile also rank high on my list. I enjoy shooting video and taking photos at all places I visit.
My professional work is in communications and public relations. However, I am always dreaming of that next destination.

Here’s a message from Türkiye to say “thank you”. I appreciate your recent ‘follow’, knowing how many interesting and entertaining blogs there are out there.
Blogging since June 2013, my little corner of the world tries to offer an eclectic smattering of posts, from basic amateur photography, to sharing my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day-to-day happenings here on our fruit farm in southern Turkey.
