Sometimes the weather, sunset timing and the right camera just perfectly align.
It had been a long week in the office and I decided to go up to the rooftop deck of my residence in downtown Detroit for a beer and to catch the sunset. I decided to grab my Canon 6D and tripod and soaked in some great sunset views of an early summer day in Detroit. The sunset started off impressively and only kept getting better as I looked northwest. Then I spun around to the south to gaze toward Canada and noticed dramatic light bouncing off GM Renaissance Center, GM’s world headquarters, and diffusing outward. It was definitely one of the best twilights I have ever seen in Detroit.
